VIRTUAL HOLIDAY RAFFLE to SPREAD CHEER has ended.
BACKGROUND: Originally, we set out to curate 10 unique raffle packages to spread cheer with the goal of raising $10,000 to support our continued efforts to work with and assist likeminded organizations in our pursuit to end drunk driving. More specifically, funds raised from this event will support: doubling the scholarship fund for the coming year as well as support of an impaired driving awareness billboard in New Jersey this holiday season, and RJW’s continued partnership with WRAP to name a few.
For those of you new to Rory J. Weichbrod Unfinished Business (RJW), it has been and remains an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN # 45-2719495) since its creation in 2011 following the tragic death of Rory at the hands of a drunk and impaired driver in 2010. The mission of the organization is to promote the responsible use of alcohol while raising awareness to the dangers of drunk and impaired driving.
RJW is excited to host its first virtual raffle to spread cheer. For those of you that didn’t know, at the time of Rory’s death, he was a fine wine sales representative in the Maryland for Republic National Distributing company (RNDC-USA). He loved his work and he loved the opportunities that it provided him to share his passion for wine. In short, Rory had started a career that would allow him to spread cheer and we intend to carry on. We hope that you will find our raffle items this year interesting and unique. We hope that the winner(s) shares their winnings with those close to them.

THANK YOU: RJW would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for everyone that participates to support our mission. Thank you for choosing safety. Because, the average drunk driver has driven 80 times before they are caught and arrested the first time. Thank you for your contribution and support to the work we do.
EVENTS BACKGROUND
When we established the organization in 2011, we created an annual community and family friendly 5k run-walk event - The Best of the Best 5k. This was our marquee annual fundraising event. We held the event for five years and had great success in our efforts to increase awareness about the dangers of drunk and impaired driving. It also served as a time for solemn reflection on Rory's life as well as the countless others that have been killed by drunk and impaired drivers.
In 2016, we decided to take a break from hosting the event to focus on other initiatives for raising awareness to the responsible use of alcohol. We regularly partner with other like minded organizations to work strategically to combine our efforts toward our commonly shared goal of a future with no alcohol related traffic fatalities.
Below we have included a sampling of past events that we have hosted, sponsored, or participated in. We welcome your inquires on how you would like us to work with you in your community to eliminated drunk and impaired driving. You can email us at: contact@rorysunfinishedbusiness.org
